تغذیه دام با گیاه دارویی خار مریم (Silybum marianum L)

چکیده

گیاه دارویی خار مریم به دلیل سازگاری بالا با خاک و شرایط محیطی مختلف  در تمام قاره‌ها کشت و پرورش داده می‌شود. تا به امروز، این گیاه دارویی تنها منبع قابل اعتماد سیلیمارین می‌باشد که با توجه به اثرات درمانی شناخته شده آن و استفاده های فراوان آن، منجر به کشف مجدد و افزایش قابل توجه این گیاه دارویی در سال‌های اخیر شده است. استفاده‌های بالقوه از این گیاه و کاهش نیاز آن به نهاده‌ها کشاورزی نشان می‌دهد که خار مریم می‌تواند جایگزین محصولات زراعی و باغی در بسیاری از مناطق روستایی قرار گیرد. این محصول می‌تواند ابزار مهمی برای افزایش و تثبیت درآمد کشاورزان و دامداران باشد. سابقه طولانی خارمریم به عنوان یک گیاه دارویی می‌تواند استفاده طولانی مدت آن را به عنوان یک مکمل غذایی در رژیم غذایی نشخوارکنندگان توضیح دهد که به نظر می‌رسد می‌تواند آسیب ناشی از تغذیه علوفه آلوده به آفلاتوکسین را کاهش دهد.
