Abstract

By adjusting feed intake in farm animals, an optimal level of farm costs can be achieved. Feed control is in addition to environmental factors affected by the nervous system and digestive system, which are controlled by hormones. Different assumptions about food intake control indicate the role of hormones in food intake. Insulin hormones, corticotropin releasing agent, adrenaline, leptin, collateral cystocinine, pentagastrin, somatostatin, bombasin, serotonin and sex hormones reduce the amount of feed intake by various mechanisms. On the other hand, glucagon hormones, growth hormone, and quarlins increase feed intake.
